Dick George has a baseball autographed by Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and nine other Hall of Famers. In this presentation he tells the fascinating story of how he got it, taking us on a joyful romp through Baltimore baseball history. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the game, you’ll enjoy captivating stories and personal insights into the legendary careers of some of the game’s greatest players.

Dick George is an Emmy-winning retired public television producer/writer, who also voiced 44 commentaries for NPR’s All Things Considered. For ten years he headed a creative media group at Constellation Energy/BGE where he won another Emmy for the famous “Wires Down” public service spot that thousands of Marylanders know by heart.
