13th Annual Joint Program of

Baltimore City Historical Society

& Historical Society of Baltimore County

Beyond Fayette Street: Lafayette in Baltimore City and County

A Panel Highlighting Lafayette’s Numerous Visits 1781-1825

Sunday, November 24, from 2 to 4 pm

Please join us for the 13th annual joint program of the Baltimore City Historical Society and the Historical Society of Baltimore County. 2024 is the Bicentennial of Lafayette’s “Farewell Tour” of the United States. Lafayette had great affection for Baltimore and visited it seven times for a total of 19 days during his 14-month tour, more than any other city besides the Washington. A panel of speakers will highlight specifics of Lafayette’s visits to both city and county locations.

Part of our joint Speaker Series. Admission: FREE, registration required.
